In the Grupo Osteointegración España (GOE) we believe in collaboration, respect and training. We are a multidisciplinary team specialized in osseointegration and in all the logistics that goes around it.
Our medical team is led by Dr. Pablo Corona, orthopaedic surgeon at Vall D’Hebron Hospital. He is specialized in limb reconstruction surgery, infections and limb salvage. Dra. Almudena Crespo, is head of the amputee rehabilitation service at Vall D’Hebron Hospital. Both Dr. Corona and Dra. Crespo have trained with Dr. Almuderis and the Australian Osseointegration Group to perform osseointegration surgery and it’s rehabilitation.
At GOE we follow the protocols designed and perfected by the Australian Group, which includes patient selection, surgical technique and the strict rehabilitation protocol. These guidelines are crucial to ensure the safety to our patients and to continue with the great results achieved by the Australian Group.
